WHAT WILL YOU DO TO HELP THE EARTH?
Earth Day, April 22: A global day of education and civic action dedicated to saving the earth -- focusing on clean air, water, and energy, protecting biodiversity, and living green. This can make a big difference if we do it for one day, but imagine the impact if we did that every day. Environmental education promotes just that, and the Environmental Educators of North Carolina (EENC) are working hard to make every day Earth Day. Environmental education is critical for a sustainable future. We need your help to change the world.
We need your help to fund programs that support environmental education, such as EENC's mini-grant, our new diversity scholarship, and outreach related to the Every Student Succeeds Act! Help us raise $6,000 by Earth Day, April 22, 2019. Any amount helps! Click the donation button below for the online giving form or mail a check to EENC, PO box 4904, Chapel Hill, NC 27515.
Want to go beyond a donation? Join EENC’s team for the Drawdown EcoChallenge, a fun and social way to take measurable action on the top solutions to global climate change. Choose your personal challenges and pledge to make a difference for our community and the planet!
Help spread the word for EENC. Follow us on social media. Tell us about your Earth Day events. Share your tips for helping others make sustainable choices. Post resources. Tag them in social media using #EarthDayEveryDay
WHY SHOULD YOU GET INVOLVED?
Because everyone benefits from environmental education. As a learner, teacher, parent, or community member, you can play a critical role in helping people access the intellectual, personal, and social benefits of environmental education.
YOU CAN HELP MAKE NORTH CAROLINA - AND OUR ENVIRONMENT - A BETTER PLACE!
