Nature Study in Middle School: How to bring out the wonder in Middle Schoolers (EENC Webinar)

  • Thu, May 19, 2022
  • 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Join us for a walk through of what one NC Middle School is doing for their Nature Study Program. We'll share lessons, ideas, failures and goals. Come ready to share your ideas and hopefully leave with some inspiration. If you have pictures of any lessons or projects you want to share, email them ahead of time so we can share with all.

Presenter: Jackie Phelps

Jackie Phelps is a life-long animal lover and nature enthusiast. She has been working with children of all ages for almost 20 years as a teacher, assistant and program leader. She started her career as a wildlife handler and alongside her husband has had the amazing opportunity to be around all sorts of critters, large and small, furry and scaly. Jackie lives in Mooresville with her husband, daughter, 6 rescue dogs and their menagerie of reptiles.
