2023 EENC PRE-CONFERENCE EVENT: CAPE FEAR BOTANICAL GARDEN TOUR AND HERB DRYING WORKSHOP

Registration closes Friday 8/28/23 at 12 p.m.!

Enjoy a tour of the Cape Fear Botanical Garden including the Eleanor and Raymond Manning Children's Garden, the River Trail, and the DayLily Garden. Then after a break for lunch join CFBG's Therapeutic Horticulture Manager, Mallory Schroer, for an herb drying workshop and a chance to explore the historic Heritage Garden farm.

Event Details:

• Registrants will meet at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden:  536 N. Eastern Blvd.  Fayetteville, NC 28301.
• A catered taco bar lunch option from Moe's Southwest Grill will be available for an additional fee. Choice of soft flour tortillas and/or crispy corn shells (2 per person), comes with a choice of chicken or black beans, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Chips and Salsa included. Lemonade and unsweetened tea included.
• The guided garden tour will be first, and the herb drying workshop will follow lunch.

Logistics: This workshop is limited to 20 in-person participants.

Please bring a water bottle, a snack, and weather appropriate clothing for being outdoors.

This field trip will be eligible for 5 hours of Criteria II/Continuing Ed for the NC EE Certification.
