In this this series of four webinars, particpants will explore the eight Science and Engineering Practices, examine an example of each SEP in an Environmental Education activity, and apply gained knowledge to a collaborative and shared resource list of activities.

About This Event
Environmental Education and the Science and Engingeering Practices is a 4 week webinar series designed to help practitioners explore the SEPs and popular EE teaching methods and activities to better understand how they can support eachother. By attending one, some, or all four, you'll have access to a collaborative resource that provides examples of EE activities or teaching methods that align to each of the SEPs.
The topics and schedule are as follows:
Tuesday February 18, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Questions and Models
Tuesday February 25, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Investigations and Analyzing Data
Tuesday March 4, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Computational Thinking and Constructing Explanations
Tuesday March 11, 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Engaging in Argument from Evidence and Obtaining, Evaluating, and Communicating Information
Format: This webinar will be completely online and uses Zoom and shared documents platforms like Miro and Google Docs.
